What NoorDEX is
NoorDEX is a user interface for a set of smart contracts on Base Sepolia that implement a constant-product automated market maker (the same model as Uniswap V2). You interact with the contracts directly from a wallet you control. The interface never takes custody of your assets and cannot move them without a transaction you sign.
Smart-contract risk
The contracts are software and may contain bugs or vulnerabilities that have not been discovered, including ones that could lead to a partial or total loss of funds held in pools. Once a transaction is confirmed it is final: it cannot be cancelled, reversed or refunded by NoorDEX or anyone else.
Price, slippage and front-running
Token prices can change rapidly. A swap executes at the pool price at the moment it is included in a block, which can differ from the quote you saw. Your slippage tolerance sets the worst price you accept; a high tolerance makes your trade easier to front-run or “sandwich”. Large trades relative to a pool's size move the price against you (price impact). NoorDEX re-checks the price on-chain before you sign and warns about high price impact, but it cannot prevent losses from market movements.
Liquidity provision and impermanent loss
When you provide liquidity, your deposit is split between two tokens and rebalanced by every trade. If the relative price of the tokens changes, you can end up with less value than if you had simply held them (“impermanent loss”), and this loss becomes permanent when you withdraw. Swap fees earned may not offset it. The first provider of a new pool sets its initial price; a price that differs from the market can be arbitraged at the provider's expense.
Tokens
Anyone can create a token and a pool, with any name and symbol — including copies of well-known tokens. NoorDEX marks a token as “verified” only when its contract address is on the NoorDEX list; this is not an endorsement, audit or guarantee of the token or its issuer. Unverified tokens require an explicit import step. Some tokens charge fees on transfer, rebase, can be paused or blacklist holders, and may not behave as expected in pools.
Information shown in the interface
Prices, TVL, volume, fee APR and other statistics come from an indexer and may be delayed, incomplete or wrong. Fee APR is a historical figure derived from recent trading fees; it is not a forecast or a promise of future returns. Nothing in the interface is investment, financial, legal or tax advice.
Networks, wallets and third parties
NoorDEX depends on the Base Sepolia network, its sequencer, RPC providers, your wallet software and, for bridging, independent third-party services. Any of these can fail, be delayed or be compromised. Keep your recovery phrase private: no one from NoorDEX will ever ask for it.
Availability and compliance
The service is not available in restricted jurisdictions or to persons or addresses subject to sanctions. Connected addresses are screened, and write actions are disabled for addresses that appear on a sanctions list. The operator's notice reads: “Not available in KSA, Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar, or Oman.” You are responsible for complying with the laws that apply to you.
Test network
This deployment runs on Base Sepolia, a test network. Test tokens have no monetary value and the network may be reset.
